DataFrameworks Releases Version 3.1 |
| |
DataFrameworks released Version 3.1 which provides the following enhancements:
- Windows "redirector" provides the ability for each Windows client to have a local single mount point into the DataFrameworks virtualized file system. This is required for Windows clients mounting Quantum StorNext volumes, but is also useful for other types of file system mounts in order to avoid DFS-based redirection mechanisms.
- The installation of the redirector component is an optional part of the DataFrameworks Corporate File Manager.
