Highly optimized scanning of the ClarityNow! scanning server provides the ability to approach a real time views of the actual file system data. Until ClarityNow!, traditional scanning techniques scan the file systems and persist the information into a relational database. These tools result in a lot of nice information, that unfortunately is days old due to the length of scan times. By the time individuals are in a position to act on the information, the information is already outdated. ClarityNow! scanning technology changes this paradigm. High speed file system scanning is achieved within ClarityNow! as a result of these technologies:
